AFRICAI Webinars are Back!
For our April webinar, we are pleased to welcome Ege Özsoy, a third-year PhD student at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) in the Chair of Computer Aided Medical Procedures (CAMP). Ege completed both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in computer science at TUM, where he developed a strong foundation in medical AI. His research focuses on Holistic OR Domain Modeling, aiming to achieve a comprehensive understanding of the operating room using semantic scene graphs and large vision-language models. Ege Özsoy's outstanding contributions to the field have been recognized at MICCAI 2024, where he received an Honorable Mention for the Best Paper Award in the main conference.
